quoting "Merowingerblut" by Karl August Eckhardt (Deutchrechtliches Archiv,Heft 11 1965) that
"Dagegen steht Thegans Behauptung, dass Nebi ein Sohn Huoching gewesen sei, auf usserst schwachen Fssen. Die Urkunden, die Geschichtschreiber, die Heiligen-legenden, die Necrologia, die Verbrderungsbcher der Zeit wissen nichts von einen alemannischen Herzog oder eines Grafen dieses nahmens..." [i. e. that Thegan's assertion of Huoching being Nebi's father is very weak. Among all sorts of documents, histories, legends, necrologies of the time, none show a single Alemannian duke or earl of this name]
