Agrippa was one of the settlers of the Beekman Patent. He was licensed as an exhorter for the First Baptist Church in Dover, NY on 9/15/1764 or 6/10/1775. The town of Dover was formed from Pawling. In 1777 he attended a meeting at Shaftsbury to be inoculated? In 1778, charges were brought against Agrippa Martin and other Tories at Dover who were given a sentence of banishment by a committee of the Provincial Congress of NY.
Agrippa's will:
I leave to my wife a riding beast that was formerly hers and the use of my estate for her support and the bringing up of my children. And when they are of age she is to have the use of 1/3 for life. I leave to my sons Daniel, Agrippa & James a certain tract of land in Oblong adjoining the farm that was formerly my father's. All the rest of my estate I leave to my children Daniel, Agrippa, James, Esther, Sarah, Susannah & Mary when of age. I make my respected & trusty friends, Isaac Sheldon, Thomas Sheldon, John Hoey 2nd, Jr. executors. Dated 8/15/1778. Witnesses: Daniel Lake, John Marsh, Daniel Marsh
